"Coming to America" Immigration Forum

<p>United Action of Connecticut in conjunction with Manos Unidas will be sponsoring "Coming to America", an immigration forum on Saturday, March 9th, 2013 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 135 West Main St., New Britain CT.&nbsp; The forum will begin at 4:00 PM.&nbsp; The forum is designed to&nbsp;help people base their opinions on real people and their real stories.&nbsp; During the forum, participants follow the journey of an undocumented person.&nbsp; Seeing their path to the United States through the reality that they faced either through poverty, oppression or injustice in their home country, participants gain a greater understading of the struggle and hardships these people endured in the hopes of a better life for themselves and their family.&nbsp;</p> <p>Admission to the forum is free and food will be provided.&nbsp; Reservations are not required but you are encouraged to do so.&nbsp; You can RSVP by going to <a href="mailto:uact4change@gmail.com">uact4change@gmail.com</a></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
