HUSKY4Immigrants Rally

United Action CT has been supporting the HUSKY4Immigrants campaign and Senate Bill 956 (An Act Providing Medical Assistance to Certain Individuals Regardless of Immigration Status) throughout this Spring. With the legislative session about to end on June 9th the campaign is making a final push to get the bill through the legislature. Each day from now until the end of the session member organizations of the campaign will rally at the Capitol between 4:00 and 5:00 pm. UACT will be taking its turn on Monday, June 7th. UACT has conducted several rallies in support of SB 956 this year, including three in Hartford as well as rallies in New Britain and Meriden. Please consider joining other UACT members on June 7th to rally in support of healthcare for immigrants.
